Due to expansion they are now seeking to employ a Senior Biomedical Engineer.
The Role - Technical Support & Service Engineer (Biomedical)
The role will involve the service, repair and maintenance of a full range of biomedical systems located at a dedicated healthcare centre. The successful applicants will work in a site based role and ensure that a complete portfolio of equipment is maintained to the necessary standard, including anaesthesia delivery systems, defibrillators, patient monitoring and vital signs monitoring systems, infusion pumps, ventilators, ECG monitors and endoscopy systems. You will liaise with healthcare professionals, providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support to resolve complex issues, evaluating equipment, diagnosing faults and carrying out product repairs.
Your Background - Technical Support & Service Engineer (Biomedical)
To be considered for this exciting role you must be able to demonstrate a background within a medical equipment repair and service environment with experience working on a range of medical devices and laboratory equipment. Experience of working with infusion pumps would be ideal. You might be an ex Forces Biomedical Engineer, seeking your first step into the private sector, a Biomedical Equipment Engineer, a Biomedical Engineer, a Medical Technical Officer or Clinical Technologist, seeking a more challenging role. You will have a qualification in Electrical and Electronic or Biomedical Engineering, impeccable customer service skills and have the ability to remain confident in customer facing environments.
