The Role - Scientific Field Service Engineer (Trace ICP)

Following expansion they seek to recruit a customer focused Field Service Engineer responsible for the service, installation, repair and general maintenance of their range of highly advanced Trace ICP / ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry) systems at customer sites.

Your Background - Scientific Field Service Engineer (Trace ICP)

To be considered for this post you should have previous experience either as a Field Service Engineer, Applications Engineer or Technical Support Engineer working on a range of Trace ICP / ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry) systems – or as a laboratory technician or scientist with extensive experience of using Trace ICP / ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry) systems.  Ideally you will be educated with an HNC, HND or BSc in a life science or engineering discipline and have a full UK driving license and a minimum of 2 years experience with life sciences instrumentation. Of equal importance is your ability to communicate effectively at all levels with external customers and internal departments.
