The Role - IT Field Service Engineer (Pathology Laboratory IT Systems)

Following expansion they now seek to recruit an IT Field Service Engineer. Working from home you will visit customer sites to offer technical support and applications training on a range of IT systems linked to medical diagnostics equipment. You will visit pathology laboratories, NHS hospitals and private clinics and liase with a range of customer contacts including laboratory managers, biomedical scientists and NHS IT technicians. You will provide high level technical support on the laboratory information management systems that are associated with automated bio-chemistry and immunoassay medical diagnostic analysers. 

Your Background - IT Field Service Engineer (Pathology Laboratory IT Systems)

To succeed in this varied and challenging role you must have a background working as an IT Field Service Engineer, Technical Specialist or Technical Support Enginer with practical experience of one or more of the following: PACS, RIS, cardiology IT, LIMS and IT healthcare informatics. You will need to be well organised and an excellent relationship builder with good attention to detail and the ability to deliver excellence in customer service.
