The Role - Helpdesk Support Specialist

In your role as Helpdesk Support Specialist, you will work closely with the technical support team to acheive the highest levels of customer satisfaction and efficiency. You will be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer contact via email, telephone and online, taking ownership of customer requests, analysing issues and managing solutions.
  • Documenting and monitoring customer complaints from both in-house and on-site, ensuring a timely and effective resolution.
  • Maintaining your knowledge of instruments and products by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.

Your Background - Helpdesk Support Specialist

To succeed in this challenging and varied role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to A Level or above in a science or technical discipline.
  • Some call centre experience along with a background working in a laboratory, pharmaceutical or scientific company or medical environment
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Organised and friendly self starter.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and positive, can-do attitude.
