The Role - Regional Field Service Manager, Medical Systems
Following expansion, this market leader seeks to recruit a customer focused and technically motivated Regional Field Service Manager, responsible for managing a team of Medical Service Engineers, responsible for the installation, service, repair, breakdown and maintenance of their range of highly advanced fully integrated surgical devices, endoscopic medical systems and audio visual operating theatre devices at hospital and healthcare centres throughout Northern England and Scotland.
Full responsibilities include:
Leadership of a field service team with high focus on coaching and development and in line with the global service guidelines to meet the service delivery KPIs and drive customer satisfaction
• Managing customer requirements to deliver maximum customer equipment uptime and high quality service delivery against regional targets
• Facilitate a positive customer experience by service delivery concerns, resolving issues that may arise by identifying problems and finding resources to offer solutions that are consistent, pragmatic and ethical.
• Manage the Field Service Engineers to ensure appropriate resource utilisation to allow effective delivery of field services
• Ensure quality standards are maintained in throughout their region
• Deliver a regional account plan taking full ownership of any respective actions
• Lead and fully adopt the key principles of the Company’s compliance standards
• Feedback local customer needs and sales opportunities to the relevant sales areas to support the growth of the Medical Business and enhance customer experience
• Implementation of the MSBU strategy
• To deliver the key result areas within the region it will be required to also spend time on the tools where appropriate
Your Background - Regional Field Service Manager, Medical Systems
To be considered for this exciting role you must be able to demonstrate a strong background working in a medical equipment service environment as a Service Manager, Medical Engineer, Senior Service Engineer, Team Leader, Service Supervisor, Senior Biomedical Engineer, EBME Manager or Senior Medical Equipment Engineer, and have the desire to move into a managerial role.
You should be qualified to a minimum ONC or HNC level or above in electronics or another relevant technical / engineering discipline. Applications are encouraged from electronic engineers from a wide range of industry sectors, including medical device, laboratory device, AV / Audio Visual, semiconductor, ex Forces (Radar / Weapons Systems), industrial / commercial imaging or areas of electronic manufacturing. You must have impeccable customer service skills and confident in customer facing environments and want to move into a management / supervisory post.
