The Role - Field Service Engineer (Pharma Instrumentation)

Following expansion this market leading company now seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer, to carry out the planned preventative maintenance, service and breakdown repair of cutting edge laboratory equipment, including electrochemistry instrumentation, testing systems and general laboratory equipment. You will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance and validation.
  • Installation of new units at customer sites and training of customer staff.
  • Maintenance and repair of customer units.
  • Supporting the sales teams through technical advice and training. 

This role is home based and will involve travelling to pharmaceutical companies, universities, healthcare centres and medical establishments.

Your Background - Field Service Engineer (Pharma Instrumentation)

To apply for this role, you will have an engineering background in the medical, pharmacuetical, biotech, scientific or laboratory sectors. You will have experience with GMP in a pharmaceutical environment and working knowledge of IQ / OQ / PQ procedures, along with electromechanical experience and an understanding of chemistry and fluid movement/paths.
