**An excellent opportunity for a Category Manager to join a leader in the supply of medical imaging systems**
My client is a global leader in healthcare. Offering 'best in class' solutions across a wide range of equipment modalities, their success is based upon a commitment to world leading standards of service, outstanding product innovation, excellent customer care and the recruitment and development of good people.
Following a recent restructure, they now seek to recruit a commercially astute Category Manager responsible for:
- Supporting project activities to ensure value-add initiatives are successfully implemented, achieving procurement savings across the business.
- Delivering and supporting a robust procurement service thereby contributing to sustainable cost improvements.
- Actively improving the strategic development of supplier and contract management and meeting stakeholder requirements through procurement best practice and demonstrating value for money.
To apply for this role you must have experience in cost management, SRM, CRM and performance improvement. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment and be confident using MS Office. Supervisory experience within an integrated service delivery supply chain (including consumables and material managment) would be beneficial but is not essential. It would be advantageous to have started working towards CIPS / CMI qualifications but this is not a requirement.
